Mark your calendars: From September 12th to 14th, 2025, the Italian countryside will host an event like no other. Welcome to Detectitalia 2025, the third edition of Italy’s most thrilling metal detecting festival, taking place at the stunning Villa Stagni – Torre Cattanei in Crespellano (Bologna).
Whether you’re a seasoned detectorist or a curious first-timer, this three-day experience is packed with excitement, discovery, and a vibrant community spirit. Here’s the full program to help you plan your adventure:
🔥 Friday, September 12 – Arrival & Opening Festivities
- 10:00 AM – Campsite and exhibitor areas officially open! Welcome all participants and campers.
- 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM – Time to settle in, explore the food court, meet other detectorists, and join our social “ice-breaker” activities.
- 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM – Dinner served in the food area.
- 8:30 PM to Midnight – Live music concert to kick off the weekend with energy and style.
- Midnight – Lights out! Time to rest for a big day ahead.
🔍 Saturday, September 13 – Full Day of Detecting & Evening Festivities
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast at the food area.
- 9:00 AM – Participant registration and welcoming session.
- 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM – Free-field Metal Detecting across our 200-hectare terrain. Hidden treasures include gold coins, silver coins, and special FIMD medallions!
- 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM – Lunch break at the food area.
- 6:30 PM – Grand raffle draw with amazing metal detecting prizes.
- 8:00 PM to Midnight – Another epic live concert to celebrate the day.
- Midnight – Rest up for the final day!
🪙 Sunday, September 14 – Parachutes, Treasures, and Closing Ceremony
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast.
- 9:00 AM – Registration and morning briefing.
- 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM – More free-field detecting, this time with fewer competitors… more chances to find something special!
- 12:00 PM – Temporary closure of the fields near the Castle area for our surprise guests.
- 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM – Parachute landing from Fly 4 Fun Skydiving School + institutional speech and lunch.
- 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Final session of free-field detecting.
- 5:15 PM – Second and final raffle draw.
- 6:30 PM – Official closing ceremony of Detectitalia 2025.
